April’s Adventures

Well heres a quick update on everything so far this month……
I started round 2 on Sunday. So far I have had the same symptoms as last month but no worse! I am so thankful for this because they doubled my dose so I was pretty sure this month would do me in! I havent had too much of the blurry vision so thats good! So I got a call from the Doc office today and everything is setup for Sunday. I will be going in for some sort of scan and then as long as everything looks good a shot of HCG. This is a huge prayer request because last month my cycle went 35 days even being on clomid! Ick! It was supposed to be around 28! Hopefully this will do the trick and everything will finally work out!
Friday I go to the wisconsin dells with our 3-5 graders! Should be a ton of fun and we are staying at a super nice hotel/waterpark! I’ll deff feel like a kid again after this weekend!!

So heres a short update from last weeks blog. I start round two of clomid on Sat. That means that the stick was neg again this month! I dread every month doing those because I have always gotten the same response. I know one day I will see what I want to see! Everything happened naturally which I am very thankful for today! I really didnt want to go on any more meds to get my cycle going again!! Round two should be interesting and I am not so much looking forward to the symptoms again but am praying that this round finally works for us! Everyday that desire to be a mom grows more and more! This next round will be double the dose as the first as well as some other tests and check ups along the way! Hopefully we will get to the bottom of all of this! Its nice to be able to vent about everything that goes on! Im not a super private person to begin with so I dont care if 1 person reads this about me or a million! There are so many women out there struggling with fertility issues and should be able to speak out about it and get support from others and not do the whole thing on their own!
We had a wonderful weekend with our friends! Allie and I went to every baby store around and then some! We also hit up two TJMAXX’s. They are the best! I would so much rather rummage through that store than most others! Especially the one in Burnsville! It is the best! I love everytime i find a great bargin! We also went to underwater adventures! What a fun place! I love the sea life especially when im not swimming in there with it! We ate tons of good food as usual and im thinking Nils and I are now Friday’s fans! We have not been there in so long but had the best food there!
Well that’s about everything! Hopefully this next month is WAYY more exciting!

So I figured I would send a brief update on whats been going on. Well I started Clomid and so far am not thinking that this round worked! I am pretty disappointed and down about it! If I have no positive news by Monday I will have to start medicine to get everything going again, and then start clomid all over again! It was a really long cycle in my mind because there were some awful symptoms and what not but I know that someday this will all be worth enduring. Next month will be an increased dose of clomid, OI (ovulation inducing) shots and an ultrasound on day 12. My doc has been really proactive with everything and I am really thankful that she is not just going to sit back and wait! I am deff not in the mood for sitting back and waiting thats for sure! I know whenever this child does exist it will be so unbelievably loved! Well pray for us as we both go through this process together! Hopefully my next post will be with good news but only time will tell!
I am really looking forward to this weekend! My best friend and her husband from Duluth are coming down and spending the whole weekend with us! I cannot wait! We always have the most amazing time and we all get a long so well that it just is awesome! She is also 21 weeks preg so we are going to hit up some super fun baby stores that she doesnt have up there and just have some girl time! Yipee!
Well hope you had a wonderful valentines day if you celebrate! We didn’t really do much but I am ok with that! I did get the most beautiful bouquet of tulips from my hubby! So wonderful!
